Orlando di Lasso (1532–1594), “Célébrons sans cesse” (1576)

Lasso was a Franco-Flemish composer of the late Renaissance, known for his master of polyphonic contrapuntal vocal works. This multi-voice canon has a wonderful syncopation that reflects the text: “Celebrate without ceasing the gift of God!”
