Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein, “All the Things You Are” (1939)

A jazz standard from the 1930s, “All the Things You Are” has been recorded by dozens of the twentieth century’s most famous recording artists and was cited by Charlie Parker as being among his favorite songs. It is quite unusual in structure and is enjoyed by many.
